Many of you know that Chris and I are in the process of moving to Fort Worth Texas. I want to be able to keep you all updated through our whole process, and once we get there I want to be able to keep everyone updated too.
Many of you know the story of how we came to this decision, many of you don't. Let me explain the whole process.
Chris and I moved some good friends to Texas this summer, and we were also in the process looking at other places that we might want to live. Since I graduated Oregon State University we have been working with my parents as full time real estate investors. (Which by the way if you are interested in getting involved please call us at 1-877-671-2121, if you want Jolene ext. 114, Chris is ext. 113) Well we got back from our Texas road trip, and didn't really feel like any area we had visited we just right for us. So we decided well, we might as wel move to Portland since we are working with my mom and dad, and spending so much on gas. we made an offer on a condo up in Beaverton, and we put our house on the market Sep. 1st.
One thing lead to another we lost our condo in Beaverton, while Chris and my dad were in Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas. This is one area we hadn't visited. While Chris was there he realy got to know the real estate market, and the people. He felt this was the place. I just so hapened to be in Atlandta Georgia at the time, and he said well pray about it, but I think this is the place.
Doors just opened up for us all over for our move to Texas.
I really feel like this is where we are supposed to be for now. Many of you who have heard me day dream in the past know that I have always had a desire to move out of the state. I don't know why or what for, but all I know is that desires come from God. Chris and I are putting our faith in God to help support this, and fulfill all of our needs right now.
We did sell our house, and should close on November 3rd. However, one of a sellers wort nightmares has happened. The buyer may not be able to go through with the sale, so we are now taking backup offers from other interested buyers. This is a difficult time, since we are no longer living like normal. We have packed everything. Pray that whatever happens it's God's will. His Kingdom will riegn forever and ever.
