All in School

Our newest Adventure isn't at the beach, the mountain, the ocean or the planes. it's all in a building.

That's right, all three of the Knapp boys are in the same building! Kinder, First and Third here they come. Beacons of light now shine through three hallways at IES.

Daily reading, math, science, writing and recess! New Friends, New classes, Teachers, activities and a new ADVENTURE!

Pensacola Beach

You'll start to see how much we love the beach and travel and Florida! In all reality we love the Bahamas and Caribbean, but when you live in the states and have a budget and three little kids, it's just easier to find your favorite beaches here.

We had a absolute BLAST going to Florida with so many families! We got to be at the beach with our friends! Two of our favorite things! And we tried some super great places to eat. All of which were awesome with kids!

Flounders
Peg Leg Pete's
& Shaggy's

We got to snorkel in the super clear water at Fort Pickens just minutes down the road from where we stayed. We caught jelly fish, crabs, conch, hermit crabs, etc. It was so neat!

Knapps Visit Clearwater

If you know us, you know we love to travel and we Love the ocean.
We took the kids on a 17 hour road trip in May down to Clearwater Florida. It was beautiful.
We stayed at the Hilton hotel right on the beach. It was Am-A.Zing!!!! The rooms all had balconies and there was a delicious breakfast. But the family loved the pool and beach access the best. The pool was very resort like with a bar, palm trees and zero entry. It was right on the beach. The beach entrance was great. Towel service, a bar on the beach with lots of space to sit and relax. To which we bought our own chairs across the street at Walgreen for $20 each, and used them every single say, instead of renting daily. The sand was so white, it's called snow sand and the water is so shallow and clear you can walk our for probably a good 200 yards.
The hotel is right on the beach, but it has such easy access to all the shops, restaurants and tour boats at the marina on the inland side. This has been our favorite vacation yet!
Our hotel even had a professional photographer walking around the beach and took our pictures the last night.

I Quit

Hey y'all
I have been so crazy busy!!! I have been watching 2 other little boys, 2 dears friends had babies very close to the same time I had Caleb. They asked if I would watch their babies, and it's ben great. But busy crazy and fun. But I have decided to no longer watch those other 2 boys. I just need to spend one on one time with my boys. Poor Carter all day long he hears me say, I can't, or don't have time to play with him. It's time I poured into just my kids. I have another week, but am getting excited about being able to get out more. There are a ton of free things to do around us too, so i am making a list. i will try to post more pics soon. I never have access to my room. Someone is always sleeping, and if they aren't....well I shouldnt' be working on the computer with 5kids running around!

Carter soccer

Carter definitely got the soccer thing this week. What a difference from the first game. However he might be better at football. He tackeled half the other team. And his own team too. We might have recruitors knocking at our door for a linebacker.

Carter's first Soccer Game

This is Carter's first soccer game. I have to say, it didn't really go as planned. We are so proud of Carter and don't care how he plays, we just want him to have fun... but he wasn't having any fun.. You'll see the progression from the pics. Here he is warming up, practicing kicking goals. He was enjoying all that...
He likes to kick!

Then the teams lined up on te center circle and pledged to play kindly. (Carter is one of the smallest, the boy next to him, Caden, he is one of Carter's good friends from church)
Daddy talking to Carter as he tries to run off. Now he is starting to act differently. He isn't sure what's happening.
melt down approaching
full melt down occured. I didn't get a photo, but Carter cried and screamed, so he is on the sidelines just watching. Eventually Chris went out there as coach, which he's not, to help Carter, but Carter just clung to Chris' legs. But he did watch, and enjoy the snacks afterwards with the team. Practice went much better, and i'll let you know how his next game goes. Evey saturday.
I have to say, I am very proud of myself. I made his top fit him. It was huge, and I sewed it.. yup you saw that right. I sewed!!!
my sweet baby Carter is growing up
posing with buba Chase. It was very sunny that day.

Carter did a great job! Practice was much better. Started the same. He just hid behind me, but I just got in line with all the other kids and started to kick the ball toward the goal. Then Carter saw I was doing it and he jumped in and finished. After that he did all the drills with the team. Today he was even in the yard doing the red light, green light drill by himself.

New Milestones

What a week for mile stones!!!!

Carter, began the oh so popular question of WHY? (let me tell you, he asks Why about EVERYTHING!) It's okay now, he will be okay with my answers, but soon i fear he'll continue asking, why, why, why, why? So hre we go!

Chase, he has perfected his jumping. And he gladly shows it off!

Caleb has begun sleeping 8-11 hours at night. Neither of the other two were even close to sleeping through the night at 2 months.... Caleb is however, bigger than C1 and C2 at this age...

I began a 60 workout program. I would love to lose some weight, (3 kids in 3 year, i have it to lost), but I am more excited about getting my energy back too! I was so yucky feeling with Caleb, that most of the pregnancy I was too nausiated to do much.

Chris began his dream of designing our next house. In high school, he always said one day he would design and build his house. (he took a lot of architecture classes). Well, we are begining the long process of building our own home. First step draw plans. Chris is excited to start this. We'll draw the plans, and look atit a few weeks before we finalize it, to make sure we dont' want to change anything...super excited! This will be a long process, about a year to two years.Patients!

Times Goes Way Too Fast!!!

Carter is really into stickers right now... this is what happened when he was "napping" in mommy's room.... apparently he wants to mail my nightstand.

My boys!
Happy Caleb
Yes, Chase sleeps like this all the time
2 Months
DIRT!!!!
Daddy bought me new dirt toys

They love to read

Sorry it's been a while. Things are going great with 3. Just a little busy at times. Caleb sleeps great, eats great. The boys already do most everything together on routine. From waking up, meals, bath, bed time and it seems when one is crying they all are crying. My dad reminded me of the Trace Adkin's song: you're gonna miss this. (I listen to it daily to remember to enjoy all the moments, crazy and not)
The boys have really started to like this nice weather. Carter and Chase just play in dirt all day. They have become very helpful, when they want to be. laundry, dishes, sweeping, vacuming (taking turn riding it... it's much to heavy to push with Carter on it.) and so much more.
Carter is going to start pre-school in the fall. He is also starting soccer next week too!
Chase still has a clogged tear duct, we went through 3 different anti-biotics, and it didn't clear up, so we are most likly going to have a stint put in his eye... kinda like tubes in the ear, but for your eye. We still have to get a referal from the pediatrician for that.
