Here in Texas, yes it is true everything is BIGER, except what you pay. Rent is the same all over the USA, but what you get here in Texas is a LOT MORE of eveything.
Our cereal boxes I have never seen them this big. I have used the same box for a week and a half...oh but here's the real test...so has Chris.
Our apartment is SO MUCH BIGGER than our house. I have actual room for an extra bedroom, and an office. Hello, have you seen my walking in closet? LOVE IT!!!! The bathroom is 2X bigger than mine from Oregon. 9Okay so that isn't saying too much, is was TINY)
It is hard to see how big our room is, but we have a sink are and walk in closet and the photo of the bed too, but it isn't a square so it's hard to put in one picture....
I gues to really be able to experiece it you MUST come visit. we have that nice extra bed...which Cotton LOVES...it hasn't gotton any use yet....oh by the way. We went into a matress store, which are like belly buttons here, they are everywhere. We said we wanted a mattress for $100. The guy thought we were joking, but soon realized, nope, we would just go next door if he couldn't do anything. He said he could give us one for that price, it was originally $250ish....we said OKAY!!! Well the next day he called and told Chris he couldn't get that one ordered in so we'd have to take an even nicer one. So we got a $400 mattress for only $100. So I know you'll LOVE IT>
We mis you all so much. We know that we are where are need to be for now. But you have no idea how much we would love to move y'all (I am trying to fit that in every now and then) down here. It is sooooo sunny and beautiful every morning, but I have no one to hang out with in the sun. (Well Corduroy...my cat....he LOVES to sun too, he rolls around in the sun spots to let us know he's happy.)
