So we had our first round of company stay with us. Our good friends from Oregon Mike and Angela, who we halped move to Texas this summer on our road trip came to visit us. They live in Midland, Texas, which is about 4-5 hours by car.
We went shopping, ate at a Taco Del Mar, which took us a while to find, and watched American Idol. Angela, also cut my hair.....yeah I know, I have a lot of trust. Actually she has always cut my hair. I had to work the second day, but Chris took Angela to a mall in Dallas, IKEA, and to see me at work.
It was short, but so nice to have a familiar face around for a while. I really miss all my family and friends in Oregon, and all over.
It also snowed...REALLY hard...the day they were leaving. How odd, it was nice when I went to work, and when I was leaving it was a blizzard.

We really need to get together with your friends in Midland! We are there so much... we are even going today for a Youth's basketball game. I think it's just a matter of finding their phone number and calling! We have it!
We have been getting LOTS of snow. It even snowed last night and there is about 2 inches on the ground. People say this is so unusual that it has been cold for so long. I like it:) And people secretly hate because of that. haha. It's amazing how some of the people here think that cold weather is a curse.
We'll be 100% debt free very soon. Either on or before the 15th. So we are thinking of taking a trip to Dallas to celebrate. So we'll have to get together. We'll let you know dates, etc.
We never made it to the Dallas Aquarium. I lived near the world renowned Monterrey Bay aquarium and Ben is from Guam so I think we might be a little disappointed:(. I know I was disappointed when I went to the Denver Aquarium... that was suppose to be spectacular.
