Feeling Better, Car story from May

I am feeling much better today. I had to leave work eairly yesterday. There's something about all the lights, perfumes, makeup, makeovers, customers with many needs, bad breath, and no food and water, that just really sets off my nausia. it was one minute I was doing okay, and the next I was walking down to the food court, and I knew...I need to get home now. As soon as I got home, I felt so much better. I had another "white pill"...soemthing the doctors gave me to help with all the "morning sickness" feelings. It's nice to be able to eat, and drink and not feel like you'll lose it. Once I had that, and rested, I was feeling much better, I even went out to eat for the first time in like 5 weeks, and I went with friends. I admit I wasn't feeling great and was only able to eat 4 bites, but I enjoyed being out and having company.

So there's a really funny story I wanted to share earlier, but I didn't get a chance becuase I never felt well enought o sit at the computer long enough....so here it is....

The day of my first prenatal visit to the doctors, it was about 98*F outside, many of you know, they take your blood, (Which for me is an issue to begin with, I always pass out, so they were ready, I had a coke, or pop I should say to my Oregon friends, and they layed me down with wet cool towled on my neck, forhead and arms. ) I gave 3 viles of blood. After the appointment I said bye to Chris he had time crunches at work he needed to meet, and needed to head out. I was a little hungry but thought i'll do ahead and head back to work and eat the lunch I left in the fridge there. I was driving down Colleyville HWY 26., my car STOPPED.....I don't mean sputtered a little, but the radio went out, the lights went out, the gas woulnd't work, power stearling went out...that's tough. I was able to pull over, luckily. I power door locks didn't work, so I had to revert to 1980's meathods....actually open the lock. It was almost 100* out, I had to water, I was hungry, I just had blood drawn, and I am pregnant. I was stuck on the side of the raod for 1 hour. I have never been so drenched in swet. The best advice I got was get my lipstick out, and a piece of paper and write "WATER, PLEASE" on it....I didn't get any responses. Let me tell you. Chris was so mad that I had to go through that, he just had the battery replaced the week before, so that is what happened. Chris did get it all sorted out. I went home and had 3 ice cream bars. i didn't make it in to work that night.

Hey sweetums. That would royaly stink to go through what you went through that day! I am so glad the doctors prescribed something to help you with your nausea. Are you going to quit working at Nordstrom anytime soon? Or will you work up until a couple of weeks until your due date? I miss you guys! I can't wait to see the photos of baby Knapp :)

Poor girl! It must have been humid too!
I thought that your car story was going to consist of puking in your car or something along those lines.
Tell Chris Hi! And you can tell Meredeth and Joe HI too:)

I'm sorry you had to go threw that experience. I keep a case of water in the trunk of your car especially there.
I had to take pills with Lissa for 7 months. I know what your going through.
It's worth it I love Carmen & Lissa. They truly are a treasure.
