Hurricane Gustav

Many people have been concerned, and e-mailing and asking how are we doing in the midst of the hurricane season. I must say I really appreciate all the care, but we are no where close to any danger. Infact, today we have had the littlest bit of wind and no rian at our home at all. Here are some pictures of the actul hurricane hitting Louisiana.

This is our home....no clounds, just sitting pretty.

I know this is a shot of the ground...I was going for fire ants, pictures, maybe you can see some...by the way for those of you not in Texas...ANTS BITE. Beware. I would rather be stung by a bee. Anywho, you can see there's no wet ground even.

It doens't look like it's that far from the coast, but Fort Worth, is what they call "North Texas" we are about 8 hours away from the coast. That would be like going from Portland to Redmond California.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day, and know that we are all safe here......

until March and we have our tornado season start.......
