Wow....I can't belive time is going SOOOO fast. I feel like I was just walking around pregnant yesterday. I noticed that Carter now looks more like a baby than a new born. New borns have that pea pod face look, Carter now is begining to focus on me, and follow my face. He kinda smiles at me, he doesn't know it's a happy thing yet though, he makes a lot of faces. He can now turn his head from side to side on his tummy. He's 9 pounds, and 21 3/4 inches tall now too. He's gained 2 pounds and 2 inches in one month. He sleeps so well at night, almost 4.5 hours every night from 12-4:30ish....I was so nervous the first time he slept so long, I wasn't expecting that for a long time, but he's getting so good at eating quicker and sometimes every hour and sometimes every 3-4 hours. He's changing so fast. And it all happened in a day or so. I feel like it was just last week I was up every 1.5-2 hours feeding him at night, and now I wake up and I am not so dazed. Contrary to the photos, he actually is awake a lot now, I just never have the camera during those times. I will try to take more awake photos.

Carmen was 8 lbs 12 oz when she was born so she didn't have that new born look for long. Carter is so peaceful and handsome little guy. Can't wait to see him.
He is getting big and awake or asleep he is sooooo cute. I just want to give him a big hug.
