I have to say, I know I usually post more than this.
However, I am returning to work soon and realizing that I am not funcationing well. I average about 4-5 hours of sleep a day, and that's been for about 10 weeks.
The #1 statement you hear people say is, "sleep when baby is sleeping"
so much easier said than done. So as of 3 days ago, that's what I have been doing. Of course that's also when Carter decided he didn't want to nap. So I have been struggling with very little sleep this week. Last night I vowed to help Carter sleep any way possible today, for his sake and mine. I rocked, feed, sang, everything. It was back to normal. I did have to use the swing for one nap, but hey, I needed him to sleep so I could sleep too.
I am doing much better, and I even got him to go to bed by 7pm, first time all week. We'll see how tongith goes, hopefully he'll do well too.
:o)

I hear ya! As much as it would be nice to sleep while baby sleeps, there is always So much to get done while baby sleeps! I hope you can get some more rest soon :)
I promise, it gets better!!! Let us know if you need some more tricks and stuff!
Hang in there, Sweety. Every day is one day closer to when you can truly be home with Carter for good. We will say a prayer for your strength and sleep for you both.
Jolene, you are very good about posting updates. My girls don't post very often, I wouldn't feel bad about. I appreciate it when you do post.
