You know it's funny I actually didn't get any pictures of carter in Midland TX. I was so busy spending time with our friends. (On a side note, Lindsey, I called you and texted you that I was in town....I finally got ahold of someone...I have your old cell number...oops, can you e-mail me that.)
The drive over was great. Carter slept the whole time except to eat in Abeline, half way there. (It's a 5.5 hours drive.) we left in the evening. We spend all day saturday with our friends Mike and Angela who are having a baby anyday now. I was able to take some pictures of them, we played games, went to their church etc. Sunday we left around 2:30 in the afternoon....BIG MISTAKE...
I really recommend travling at night with a baby in the car. At least one is isn't used to the car seat for 6 hours. He of course is used to being up and about for the afternoon hours, so sitting in the car was not his idea of a good day. I eventually had to sit inthe back with him and console him. He screamed for the last half of the ride home. I started to video him, because it made him stop screaming for a bit. Other than that...we had a great time. Can't wait to meet their little boy.

I recommend traveling at night too.
When you have little ones you get creative. Love the video, bless his heart. I know that's not easy to listen to for a long period of time. I bet you were all glad to be home.
