Carter with his Daddy on Father's Day
Looking at fish

This video was sunday morning for father's day. Carter was feeling much better.

By father's day, Carter was feeling much better. He woke up with a normal temp. 98.8. But he had a rash all over his body. We weren't worried since our doctor told us that if infact it is a virus, he'll finish it off with a rash, I guess it's the way is get's out of your body. Anywho, so we couldn't go to church, since the nursery wouldn't take him. So we hung out at home. Untill late in the afternoon, Carter wanted to take daddy to cabella's, to look at the fish and animals. We were there for a while, then we came back home and watched Nascar. When Chris was holding Carter, Carter would look at me, and face plant into the boppy pillow, sucking on it. We would laugh, so he would do it again. It was so cute. I thought this is just a glimps of moments to come of him making us laugh.

This weekend we also started to give Carter baby food. He is so ready to eat. He loves to open his mouth a eat. Sometimes I cna't shovel it in fast enough, before he gets mad. He loves sweet potatos, and is just now really liking squash too. I think he doens't like his rice cereal anymore though. We have to fight him on that now, which he used to eat just fine. I wonder if it's becuase he would rather have a veggy?!?!?! Anywho we are open to know what other kids do, and we ar just going to try what works I guess.

Carter is all boy. We sure are glad he is feeling better. You know he is growing when he gets hungry like that.

Emily did the same thing with the cereal after we started baby food. Try mixing the two together....She loved peaches, so we'd mix the peaches with the cereal and she'd eat that. I think it's a flavor thing. Cereal doesn't have much flavor on it's own.
