Almost There

So the other day, I was called-out on my promise to update daily with crawling updates. Oooopppsss!!!!! I have been so busy. I don't really check my e-mail much anymore either. Life has gotten busy here. So what's been going on. Carter has crawled one or two steps, never on video. We were at a friends house for dinner on sunday night, and while we were all eating our burgers, (which were SOOO delicous!!!!) Carter was sitting the the floor, oh, just crawling to his teether, like it was no big deal. Would he do it again...nope. Today, monday, he's no longer rolling where he wants to go, and he isn't crawling yet, he's doing this odd, twist-swivel thing, now that ha can sit up on his own, he switched which side he pushed up on and twists around the floor. (yes, mom, a video is coming of that.) In the morning sometimes we watch sesame street before his first nap. (I said I would never let my child watch tv, oh big deal, it's not on all day, we watch 15 minutes, and besides I could be tanning in a cancer bed right?) Well when he watched seseame street he really doens't care that much, but the second Elmo's World comes on, no matter which way he's facing, he watched the tv. He really has taken to Elmo. It's funny how kids just love him. He also loves to watch dancing. I was rewatching So You Think You Can Dance last week, and Carter just talked along with the dances. He was very entertained, much like Chris and I are. It's cute. (I promise we play more than watch tv.) The last few days, he has really been protesting going to sleep for a nap or bedtime. He just sits right up and screams. He goes to bed at 6:30, and tonight he finally pooped out at 9pm. it's so tough to hear him upset, but I know he's so tired. Well that's our week. Oh, and the first video is Carter playing with his toy box. It used to be in the corner, but he found it one day, so instead of waiting for him to manouver over to it, by the coffee table, I just put it out for him.
