Crawling

Here are some much better videos of Carter crawling. I was finally able to get him on video for more than one step. I have litterally had my video camera at my side this whole week. (I never knew parenting would require so much stalking. hehehe)

I was in Carter's room playing with him, when he stopped and just beelined it for his fan, which we use as white noise all the time. I moved him back to the other side of the room, while the camera was turning on, and I am so glad he did it again. He crawled right past his toy to the fan. How is it that kids know they would rather play with things they shouldn't. I also got Carter doing his swivel twist thing, which is slowly disapearing, just like the rolling disapeared. He also used to do this bear crawl thing, with his booty in the air, which he did a little here, but not like he used to. You really have to capture things right away, just a few days and they change. Truly Carter doens't roll at all anymore, and I feel like I missed getting so much on video. (hense the last many posts have been all video)

My mom told me that he seems so happy and content with each stage. Unlike me, she said I would always be wanting the next thing......guess what mom.....carter might be happy, but yesterday all day, he just wanted to pull up on thing. I was putting my clothes away today, and who do you think is standing holding onto my dresser.....Carter. crawling at 7.5 months, he might be like his daddy and walk by 10 months. I am in trouble. :o)
