8 Weeks 4 Days, 10 Months (Carter)

Well First of all Carter is now 10 months old. He had his flu shot and didn't even cry at all, he was more mad the the nurse layed him down and he wasn't done looking at himself in the mirror. At 10 Months, Carter is jibber jabbering all the time. He has said, mama, dada, dog, cat, and he understands obey mommy, come here, share, stack your boxes, and he knows that when I say mama's going potty, he practically beats me to the bathroom. He loves to play with tp rolls, Koda, boxes, blocks, balls, and the cats. He pulls up on everything even moving objects (like the dog) He can stand on his own. He has 3 teeth, eats lots of ppl food, but is still hessitant to let mama feed it to him. He has a little mama attitude, "I can do it." "Let ME do it." So he likes to feed himself. He likes Bananas a lot, pears, Loves Mac N Cheese, muffins, gold fish, orange juice (which he only gets sips of mommy's.) he LOVES yogert, any kind. He sleeps from 6:30-7 everynight and takes 2 naps at 9 and 1. He'll sometimes talk to himself in his crib for up to an hour before taking his nap though, then he'll sleep for 1-2 hours. There's so much more he does, but I have to leave room to talk about another baby too.
I had my first doc appt today for Baby #2. Chris and Carter were there too. Carter wasn't comfortable watching mommy get a sonogram. He was so upset. But he did great other then that. He even left them lots of biohazzard diapers. I am 8 weeks and 4 days. THe baby looks great. It already has little arm and leg buds. The heart beat was 167. I still am not sure boy vs. girl. The sono tech asked me, "Are you sure you don't have any pain."..........
I thought, no, why.
Well, they also found what looks like a cyst on my filopian tube. It could very well be caused by my PCOS, but just to make sure it isn't a tubular pregnancy I have to go in for another sono next week too, so they can keep an eye on it. Even the worst case situations, the baby will be fine, so I am not worried about that. If it is a cyst and it stays the same, they might do nothing, if it grows they might ahve to remove it. If it's a tubular pregnancy it will need to be removed, which would be a minor surgury. So I don't know weather I nervous or not. I am glad the baby is great. That's the main thing.....right? I mean, I am still feeling odd that there is something else to take care of. Please pray it takes care of itself, and everything looks normal next week, God can do that.
Here are the pics of Baby #2. The head is toward the right, and the body in the middle. THe legs kinda poke to the left and up. The circle is the yoke sac. Isn't that a cute baby!!!!!!!

Jolene, I had a tubal (ectopic)pregnancy and ended up in the hospital. It is excrutiating pain and you would difinately know you had it. The pain would have occured long before now. We love the pictures of Grandbaby #2. We are praying the cyst does not become an issue. I can just picture Carter "protecting" his Mommy.
