Back to Work

Oh NO, I don't think so. Not a chance.

However, this weekend for a little adult time. I did freelance for Laura Mercier Cosmetics. The company I used to work for at Nordstrom, I went to another Nordstorm in Dallas, to work one of the Trend events as an artist. (So I was a cotractor through Laura Mercier, not associated with Nordstrom at all.) I really like being on the other side.
1)the pay is much much more.
2) there's no pressure of my sales, or booking the event.
3) I don't have to set up or clean up
4) I can say NO, I'm busy,
5) I set my time to come and go, but I have to be there when I said I would.
6)I still get free stuff in cosmetics.
So How great is that. I just worked Sat.
I think I"ll wait a while to do it again.

mad at me when I got home. Chris said he was real happy. Ty (Who watched him in the moring, which I really, really really appreciate. Big THANK YOU.) said he was happy too.
But the second I walked in the door. Screaming, mad, didn't want to be held, didn't want to go to bed, he did however nurse well, but then he didn't want that either once he was done. Didn't want me to rock him, didn't want to cuddle, didn't want to brush teeth, didn't want to read a book. He was just mad. So I think it's gonna be a while before I leave him again.

I did enjoy myself doing makeovers, and tlaking with some old friends. I didn't like how my feet felt. I forgot what aweful things heals are. YUCK. Anywho. That was my weekend. If you hear I worked again. It's just when I want to, it's not perminant. It's just a place to get out of the hosue and have some me/adult time.
