Carter is So Smart

I talk with my mom every day on the phone on her way to work. She really wanted to see Carter stacking cups and playing around. I wish these were better videos. Carter loves to stack those cups all day long. He'll take them everywhere, bang them on the chairs in the kitchen, which makes our home sound like it's under construction. He is so smart, he knows to turn one over to pick it up from the bottom, so he can put the smaller one inside it, and his hands won't be in the way.

Also yesterday, Monday Carter was sooooooo fussy for his second nap, and that just isn't like him. He usually talks and plays in his crib until he falls asleep, but yesterday he was screaming, crying, upset...I made sure he wasn't sick. I just couldn't figure it out. Finally at dinner time it occured to me as I was feeding him.....there are 5 teeth in his mouth now...he was cutting another tooth, but it was on the top right. I heard the next two are normally on the bottom, well not Carter's. 2 on the bottom and 3 on top.

Also today right after that first video. I backed up a little, and Carter took 2 steps and stopped. He was perfectly balanced, but that was it. I think I scared him, becuase I was sooo exited. So he isn't walking yet, but I think in the next few weeks, he'll have it down.
