SNOW SNOW and MORE SNOW

Well, what can we say. I guess it's tougher to predict the weather here in Texas than in Oregon (were we used to live......partly cloudy, chance of rain.) Thur we were told we might have some snow flurries mixed with rain in the late afternoon. I never even thought twice about it. I woke up Thur morning with about 4 inches of snow already..we were SHOCKED. It didn't stop snowing all day long. It snowed for about 22 hours straight. I guess the cold air dipped lower south than expected, and the moisture came up north more than expected. Texas just met them in the middle. Here is Keller Texas, where we live we got 13 inches of snow in 1 day. DFW airport, got 12 inches. I can't tell you the last time I ever saw that much snow in one day.
It was a great time. Here are some pics of Thur and Friday. Chris stayed at home on friday, since all the schools were closed, businesses took a three day weekend, it was a play day for everyone.

Koda loved chasing the snow.
Looking out our front door Friday morning, (after the snow stopped falling.)

Friday morning looking out our garage after the snow stopped falling.

Friday morning. Koda being sent out to go potty. He didn't like that much. You can see the electric fench we have up for him, we just about covered...that's about 15 inches off the ground.

Our back yard Friday morning. After the snow stopped, 13 inches. You can't even tell you have an electric fench up for Koda, or my vegy boxes.

Chris playing with Koda and Carter Friday morning. Carter is on a boogy board, so he didn't have to stand in the snow.

Me and Carter playing in the yard.

Thur night before we went to bed.

Friday morning when we woke up.
We tried to pull Carter on the boogy board, but he kept falling to one side of anther, so we just stopped. He didn't like it that much.

"Hey guys....don't just leave me here."

When we woke up Friday morning with 13 inches of snow.

Thur night the snow was still falling.

Thur morning when we woke up.
