Easter Weekend

Chris and I decided to "hide" Carter's eggs on Sat, since Sunday, we didn't know what the weater would look like. Hence he doesn't have his Easter outfit on, but it's more candit that way I guess. Chris is "hidding" the eggs for Carter. We put 1 M&M in each egg. He started to figure out that the eggs that made noise when he shook it had the M&M inside, the ones that didn't make noise had nothing, so he quickly tossed those ones. He caught on real fast to find the eggs. When we were at church on Sunday, they hid eggs all over the church for the older kids. Chris and I were walking out with Carter, when he ditched us, ran over to a couch, got on all 4's, then squirmed on his tummy under the couch. A few seconds later he emerged with an egg. He saw it from all the way across the hallway, and wanted it. It did not however ahve any candy inside. He did't care, he was so proud he found one. Needless to say, he definitly caught on to the concept.

Eatting an M&M

You can see the proud parents in the sliding window, Chris has the video camera, and I have the photo camera.

Yumm. M&M's
Last week, we got the bed rails for Carter's convertable crib. We are by no means ready for them, but Chris' parents wanted us to make sure we had them, since Carter's first crib, the cherry wood one, is discontinued, so we may not be able to find the bed rails as easily. The kids, Carter and Charity, (the little girl I watch), they were being so quiet, so I went to see what they were up to. They love to play on the box. It's really cute.

For Easter, after church, it was super humid, about to rain any second, but it held off, Chris built a mini fence for our veggy garden. Carter loved helping. He even tried to hammer some things.

Carter can spend so much time, just sitting and playing with his mega blocks. He has such good concentration.

Last week in the pool. It was very warm last week.

Chris and I tried a new store Aldi's, and tried one of their pizza's. It was really good. Carter grabbed the box off the counter. Sat in it, and tried to close himself in it. I don't know how he knew to do that. It was so funny.

On thereal hot days last week, I made homemade popcicles in the freezer. Carter loved them. He also caught on to that concept right away.

Carter figured out how to get the cereal box open and the fruit loops out. He really like his "Fru, oops"

He was dancing around one morning. And stopped to point at me. Like, "you're turn mom" It as incredibly hilarrious.

What a lovely weekend, lots of activity and Carter growing up so fast. A quick steady he is. It's so cool how Chris is teaching Carter the tools of the trade.

That is awsome that he caught on to hunting for Easter eggs so fast and he is definately taking after his Uncle Jason with the blocks. I imagine you have even more photo opportunities than before.I suppose it's hard to keep up. What a fun little boy.
