First Time for Everything

Carter is on anti-biotics for the first time ever. He's never had an ear infection, or other illnesses that have needed anti-biotics. I am a little nervous because I have heard they can get bad diaper rash with anti-biotics, and I just remember how bad Carter had diaper ras at his one year birthday, and it took 2 months to get rid of it.
He needed anti-biotic because of our kitty cat. In Corderoy's defence it was 100% Carter's fault. For the past few days Carter has been dragging the cat around the living room by his tail. Carter has been laughing and loving the cat, but poor Corderoy has beenvery patient. He's hissed a few times, but for the most part, just let Carter do what he wanted to. Well yesterday he had it. Corderoy bit Carter on the hand. Ever since then, Carter has just hugged the cat, no more tail dragging.

He will know not to do that again. I'm surprised Corduroy didn't do it sooner. He is a patient cat.
I'm sure Carter will be OK and so will Corduroy.
Boys will be boys.

This is a awful thought it just came to me, but I had to post it anyway.
Curiosity killed the cat.

Go to the feed store at 377 and Johnson Rd. (McDonnell's). They have some stuff called Bag Balm. Its original use was for cow's udders from being milked so much. It's got many other uses too. Such as baby's diaper rash! Kimber, as I told you, has been on antibiotics for 5 days (5 more to go) and got the nasty antibiotic rash. I got some yesterday, did 2 applications, and her rash is like almost gone, even with her still having diarrhea!!! So, now, Dr. K, Erika, and I will be telling EVERYONE about it!

Abbi is correct about bag balm. We used to use it for all kinds of things. It lasts a long time so I wasn't sure they still made it.

They do still make it!! And it's absolutely incredible!! Their larger 10oz jar was only a little less than $7, totally worth it.
