6 Year Anniversary

Our Wedding:
This year we were trying to figure out something we could do as a new family of 4, and not spend too much money, or go too far from home. So we went to the Gaylord Texan, a really nice hotel, which is set up insde like San Antonio. We have never been there before, and thought it would be great to just walk around. They were having an Alice in Wonderland theme, so Carter got to see some neat things. (not that he knows what Alice in Wonderland is yet, but he still enjoyed it.)

Carter looking at a train. (ever since my grandma sent him Thomas the train, he's been really into trains.)

Look more trains

Chris and I for our 6 year anniversary photo. (it's not my favorite at all, but hey, I just had a baby)

Carter, "Kitty."

Almost family photo, I didn't want to wake up Chase, so we left him in the stroller.

We ate at the Riverside Cafe. GREAT food. We could have stayed much longer, and enjoyed much more. It's all you can eat. And we ATE. they have steaks that they grill just the way you like them. They have great meats, pastas, salads, deserts, fajitas. (It's the best all you can eat place I have ever seen. I really tried one of everything, and it was great.)

There was band playing at the Riverside Cafe, and you can see why we didn't stay much longer. Carter was antzy, so he didn't want to sit in his high chair, Chase was hungry, so Chris took the kids while I finished eating, then I went to feed Chase while he tried to finish eatting, and watch Carter. Carter did like the band though.

It was a great Anniversary. Chris surprised me in the morning with a full hour massage. It was the best hour I've had in weeks. I got to leave the house alone.....ALONE. I went to the massage, and when I walked out, I kinda thought....freedom, where can I stop before I have to go home?
I love my family, but it was a great treat from Chris to let me out for an afternoon. Later that night Chris went to rent a movie. I told him to pick, because we usually like the same kind of movies. He came home and said he rented Avitar. ....I laughed, and thought he was joking, no really what did you rent? I guess he didn't realize how much I didn't want to see That movie. Well I watched it anyway, because he bought me pound cake and strawberries. It turned out to be an okay movie anyway.
