This morning. After Chris' alarm went off, I pulled Chase in bed with me, because I was too tired to get up, we both zonked out till about 9, when I heard Carter, "mommy, daddy."
I know this photo looks out of focus, but it was in focus. My child, Chase, suffers from R.B.S. (Not RLS, restless leg syndrom, but RBS, Restless Baby Syndrom) He never sits, lays, or cuddles still. Only when he is 100% asleep does he stop moving. He is our super active, social baby. I just don't remember other babies moving this much.
(He was still in motion here, but I changed my picture setting to get a moving object.) Isn't he so cute in the high chair. he's so tiny compared to Carter. We never put Carter in a high chair this little, but Chase has such good head, neck control. (Probably because he wont stop moving)Wow. Time has gone by so fast.
Chase is 8 weeks old today. I just can't believe that. He is really filling out. He has a cute mohawk thing going on. Looking back Carter did too. Chase is doing really well. He isn't on a specific schedule, but he has a routine. He takes 3-4 naps a day. The noon nap is usually the longest. (That's when Carter sleeps now too.) Both Carter and Chase get ready for bed together. They sit at the table and we eat togeher, well Chase just watches. Then they take their bath's together. (They have both managed to pee on the other at one time or another, Carter thinks it's funny now, because Chris and I just couldn't stop laughing when Chase peed on Carter, because he didn't know what to think. he just sat there, staring at Chase.) Then Chris takes Carter to get ready, I take Chase. I feed Chase, while Carter comes in to say goodnight. Chris puts Carter down, then I put Chase down. It's been going so well. Chase sometimes want to be rocked a little longer some nights than other nights. But he does great. he sleeps from about 9ish till 2:30, then wakes up again at 4-5ish.
I am contemplating moving Chase to his own room sooner than I moved Carter, sooner even than I would like. Chase sleeps in his packNplay, but Chris' alarm goes off every morning at 5:30am, and I am getting so tired of Chase waking up, and wanting to be held, or fed again. I know he doesn't mean to wake up at that time, because on the weekends, he wakes up at 7:30ish.
Carter by the way is sleeping great still! We moved his bedtime later, to 8, so Chris can have more time with him everyday. He started sleeping in till 9!!!!!!! You read that right, 9am. WOOOHOOO!!!! I can't wait for Chase to sleep in late too. Carter can still take 2 naps, but can also get by with just 1, he's in this transition stage. I feel like every 3rd or 4th day, he Has to have 2 naps.

Hey Chase and Charlotte are exactly 5 weeks a part! I LOVE the picture of him in his high chair... Such a cutie!!! Can't wait to meet him!
He is so cute!
He really looks a lot like Carter in these photos. What a doll! I bet Carter was surprised the first time Chase peed on him. How funny!
