New Things

Well,
It's been a while. We ahve been busy.
We took Chase in to the Dr. again. He is 7.5 months old, weights 13.10lbs. He is so tiny. Deep down, I am just not in the least bit worried. He has fat on his legs, he eats a lot.... for him. His belly is SOOO large in the tub, it just cracks me up. He sits there with a budda belly. He has been pulling up on everything, climbing, and crusing along furniture. He stood up all by himself for a while last week. (We were in the grass, and he just hates th way grass feels, so he stood, to avoid touching the grass.) Chase is also almost on 100% solid table food... and he doesn't have 1 tooth. Like I have said before, if Chase could talk he would say, "Don't treat me like a baby". I give him purred peas, screams. I give him whole peas, loves them. I do the same with green beans, chicken, meatballs, mac N cheese, muffins, blue berries (kid could live on blueberries alone I swear), strawberry, fruit in general he loves, carrots, sweet potatoes, black beans (kid loves beans), He likes to use his hands and shovel stuff in his mouth. Meals time have become even messier than before though. I find myself sweeping and swiffering 3 times a day.
Carter is learning so much. He is starting to count with his fingers, he can do 1, 3, 4, 5. Holding up 2, he tries, but it's hard. Loves to play with his "tain table", (train), He loves toread his new books, and watch Sid the Science Kid (DVD's he picked out with his ToysRUs gift card from Christmas). He talks so much now. He is having lots of trouble with Chase. I hear, "Mine Chase." All day long. Poor Carter, most kids with a 7 month old brother wouldn't have his toys snatched away. It is really cute to see them playing together too. Carter will give Chase lots of toys too. Poor Chase, if I hear, "Here you go Chase." I find Chase covered in a million toys. Chase puts toys in his mouth, and Carter laughs, so Chase does it more. THen Carter puts toys in his mouth and shows Chase. They are just too cute together.
Chris and I are doing very well. We hvae some exciting news to share.... soon.
(NO... We are NOT having another baby, just get that thought out of your mind).
But it does involve family, so stay tuned.

Sounds like meal times have become lots of fun. It's great the kids are such good buddies.

Chase is tiny and Charlotte is big, she's 17 lbs at 6 months. I'm sure they will both catch up with each other.

way to leave us with a cliff hanger....now my mind is rolling with all kinds of ideas like, "maybe they are moving back to Oregon!!"

Thanks for the update! I love hearing how your boys are doing.
