Well First of all, Carter found mommy's lip gloss. Chris wasn't the most excited about this new discovery, but Carter is super curious. (just glad he can't reach my mascara yet)
Carter's toy nails and screws. He was having lots of fun. He looks like Edward Scissorhands to me.
My buba bear Chase. He is usually naked because he eats A LOT, and makes such a mess I just strip him down. For those who don't know, Chase has been weighed every week for a month now. (he has his weekly weight-in's). He hasn't changed in 1 month. 9 months, he was 14.2lbs, same at 10months. We have a lot of testing for him on April 18th, at Cook's Children's Medical Hospital in Ft. Worth. We will keep you updated. He is just not physically growing, but he is developing GREAT.
Chase got a cookie on the way home one day. LOVED IT!!!! Every Saturday we started going to Target and stopping by the bakery firstfor a cookie, then a fresh bagel, after our Target trip, we hit Jamba Juice and all share a orange dream machine. (the kids LOVE it, and it gives then lots of hydration, since it's been getting pretty hot here already.)I am hoping the bagels fatten Chase up too.
Carter slipped in the kitchen and hit his mouth on the tile. At the time I didn't know if he lost a tooth or what. He actually, put his tooth into his lip, inside. PRAISE the Lord it didn't go through. I had my nighbor come over and inspect him. (She's a nurse...ps, if looking for houseing, I highly recommend a nurse neighbor!!!! She gets childcare, I get medical help) She did say there was nothing a dr. could do, so just watch for infection. Popcicles and Tylenol. Both are recieved with great appreciation!!!

He has now decided he would rather walk than crawl, even if it takes a little longer. He does still crawl too though. He can stack cups, blocks, say mama, dada, dog, cat. He waves, points, and reaches up when he wants up. He also is very good at getting Carter in trouble. He has figured out that when he cries while Carter is around, mommy would usually punish Carter and give Chase the toy.... well, that has ceased. I was treating him like a baby. (I have said numours times, Chase would say, "Don't treat me like a baby" if he could) He also tries to use a spoon and bowl for meal. (if you didn't think meals could get any messier....oh WOW, the whole floor needs a bath too... hence the always naked baby) We also are slowly weaning him to whole milk mixed with instant breakfast. To fatten him up. I really think he's looking fatter in just a week, but haven't had the weight-in yet. He loves the milk. He gets real mad when I have to take it away. (I am increasing his oz a little every day to get his body used to it, so far I've seen NO ill effects. Carter was on whole milk by 11 months too.) What else....He is just acting so much older than he is....

Chase LOVES shoes. He wears a size 1. (NO JOKE). I bet he's the only baby walking in size 1 shoes. Crazy huh?

We laughed so hard at these photos.Boys are full of surprises and curious about everything but what fun!!! Keep those ice packs handy cause this is just the beginning.But the best part is getting a feel better hug from Mom. And eventually Chase will be eating without always wearing his food. What a cutie!!!
