Here is a photo of the boy's room. Carter and Chase like to share. But they don't get as much sleep as they used to. Chase started tossing out his blankets and animals so Carter would get them. Carter got in trouble for getting out of bed, and Chase got in trouble for bombing Carter with his water cup one night. (kid has an arm!) It's been a little tough in the mornings, since they used to sleep till 7-8. Now they are waking up around 5:45. Yes AM! We leave them till about 6:30, but then the screaming is so loud, we aren't even resting anymore. Little buggers!

This is the reason they are sharing. This thermometer was in Carter's old room. It's been so hot outside, (109.9) His room inside was reading (91.4) at almost 5pm. It was just too hot to sleep in there. We are thinking of seperating them for a while once fall hits, before they share again when we have Caleb. They just need more sleep. They are so much more irritable these days.

Chris was given sombrerros from a customer at work. he got big ones and small ones.

"well, I recon that snake looks 'bout fried."

My 100% independant self feeding child.
Many of you may have heard, we were so sick last week. We have been held up inside for a few weeks. It started with Chase, then Carter then me, Chris believe it or not then our dog and a day later our cats. It was quit the bug. I slept in the bathroom all day. With the boys we washed more linens then I even thought we owned. We were just so sick! it's been rough, because once one person is better another gets it. I have been so afraid to go anywhere or have anyone over, fearing they might get this. None-the-less. We are hoping to be all over with that!

Active boys they look cute in their new hats.
I randomly came across your blog. Your family is adorable! I too am the mom of 3 boys and your post here about them sharing a room made me chuckle because, yeah, I totally get it! All 3 of my boys share a room.
I learned a trick that I have passed on to several of the preschool moms and MOPS moms that I know and they have been passing it on to others. I stagger their bedtimes. My 4 yr old goes to bed at 7, my 6 yr old at 7:30, my 8 yr old at 8. It is amazing how much more sleep we all started getting when I started staggering. Hope it helps and brings the same peace to your house as it has to mine!
Congrats on baby #3 on the way. What a wonderful blessing!
