Trip to Oregon

It's so odd to me to say that I took a vacation to the only place that I have known as my home for 23 years. But for the last year, Texas has quickly become a very easy to call home. Chris and I got to spend some great quality time with some family and friends. Here are just a few pictures. This trip was great. For the frist few days Chris and I were secretly talking about why we ever left. We even thought that we could....possible move back.....

I must stop y'all here, quick fast forward to all my Oregon family and friends, we are staying.

...so we thought goodness, why did we leave all of our family and friends are here. Then after like day 8 or so, we were like..."I am ready to go home now." You know how that is, when you go on vacation.

Anywho. We saw our great friends Elle, Courtney and Andrew. We swong by our old house in Albany. Saw our great friend Jess, Heather, Chris J, Courtney, Amanda, and all our family. We played a lot of cards. Ate beer bread, had thanksgiving, and spend great time with family, and my cousin Lissa....my goodness we stayed up late.

It was so hard to get back onto Texas time. Having to be at work at 9am really hit me, when i felt like it was 7.

We can't wait for more family to move to Texas....here are some photes to enjoy.

Ok I'm glad you clarified you're staying in TX! You would miss the sun too much--and us of course :)

Chris and Jolene,
We love you guys but we will never move to Texas. Eric and I travel to Texas often and it's a nice place to visit...but we love Oregon.
It has everything the coast, the mountains the desert, the valley, small towns and big towns.
We've traveled all over the world and we love Oregon the best. If you want the sun Eastern Oregon is the place for you. It has the sun and cowboys.
