Happy New Years!!!!

Happy New Year!!!!

Chris and I, along with our friends Ty and Kara, and their two kids, Mikayla and Lucas, we all went out to East Texas on Dec. 31st, for the day. Chris's friend Tim....(previous post, we had Christmas dinner with them) owns a property out in East Texas, that has a lake/pond, fields, watching paths, and a cute house. We spend the day their fishing, canoeing, 4 wheeling, and cooking. It was a little chilli, but fun. We made smores on the grill even.

After we got home from east Texas, we were already a little tired, but hey it's new years eve. we changed and headed over to Bill & Aloha's house, we know them from church. We met up with a bunch of other people from church there too, we all played games, and watched tv, and ate dinner. It was a lot of fun. I didn't know that in other parts of the US they watch to New York new Years at real time, so everyone at Times Square is saying 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1...and we are thinking....we still have 1 more hour. ....... YAY!!!!!

It's odd, becuase in Oregon, it was delayed so we would see it at our New years. Anyway...that was something new. We were able to change chanels and watch Downtown Dallas, have their New Years ball drop. Chris and I were so tired for the day that we left at about 12:15.

I fell right asleep, and around 1:45 in the morning....not to disapoint, I did fulfill my New Years eve tradition. I was sick all night long, once again seeing dinner.

(Funny little note here, if you are new to my life, you'll find out that EVERY new years eve, I get sick....every last one...my mom is a great testimony to that.) It was alittle after mid-night, but I figured it was almost mid-night Oregon time, so my body is still adjusting.

I hope 2008 brings great things to y'all this year.
